INFORMATION & GUIDELINES FOR NEW ADMISSION (LKG) 2023-24

LKG Admission 2023-24

Registration will be available on-line as per the guidelines given below:

1. Registration for LKG Admission 2023-24 will be ONLINE only from 26.01.2023

2. Eligibility: Minimum age of 3 years completed as on 31.3.2023. (Child born between 1.1.2019 and 31.3.2020 is eligible).

3. Last date for online Registration is 06.02.2023

4. Scanned copy of the following to be uploaded DURING registration:

i) Birth Certificate (issued by Corporation/Municipality).

ii) For own brother/sister – copy of latest Fee Receipt and ID card copy for child now studying in GSS School.

5. LKG – Session :

Batch I : 8.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

Batch II : 11.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.

Note :

(A) Online Registration of form will not stand Guarantee for

(i) Consideration for the counselling session

(ii) Admission.

(B) Forms will not be issued and registered through School office.

(C) Forms duly filled & registered through online will alone be accepted.

(D) Kindly take the print out of acknowledgement of online submission of the registration form and use it for all future reference.

Prospectus

ABOUT THE SCHOOL:

Our school is a charitable, Non-Profit motive and service oriented institution established in the year 1966-67, by the Philanthropic Jains of chennai. The school is managed by Shree Mahaveer Jain Kalyan Sangh, functioning as a religious and linguistic Jain Minority institution. The school is housed in a sprawling and beautiful campus with Magnificent buildings, spacious, airy and ventilated classrooms. We have separate section for boys and girls from class VI to XII being, a Jain Minority institution, strict vegetarianism and sanctity of the campus is being maintained. Our school has been rendering Quality education to the needy people. More than 35 batches of students have been sent from the CBSE Secondary Examination, resulting in almost cent percent passes and securing all India ranks in very many subjects over the years. Our school has produced outstanding students, who have later, become successful Professionals in various fields and walks of life with the divine blessing of our guiding spirit, Gurudev Shree Shanti Surishwarji Bhagwan (the saint of Mount Abu).

FACULTY :

Highly Qualified, devoted and experienced teachers specialized in the respective areas are rendering their best training under the able guidance and leadership of dynamic and efficient Principal. Specialists in fine arts, Abacus, Handwriting Skills, Craft works, games and sports are providing excellent training to enhance the skills of the scholars.

QUALITY IS OUR STRENGTH:

Admission is made on academic merit and pro-rata basis purely at the discretion of the Management. Purchase and Registration of Application form does not guarantee admission. No Capitation Fee is collected and the applicants are requested not to influence any one for seeking admission. In order to maintain High Quality performance at all levels, strict adherence of Rules and Regulation of the School, is mandatory for all.

ATTENDANCE :

It is compulsory for all the Students to be regular and punctual to school. A minimum of 90% attendance is required for a student to complete the course of study, during the academic year.

EXAMINATION & EVALUATION :

Classes I to III, I Term & II Term Exams to be conducted along with Four Midterm Test. The syllabus for I Term will not be included for II Term. For classes IV to IX & XI, I Term & II Term Exams to be conducted along with Four Midterm Test. I Term Portions will be included for II Term Exams. Weightage of marks for Qualifying to next higher class is for I Term 50% and II Term 50%.

OPEN DAY :

Parents are encouraged to meet the class teachers and discuss their ward’s progress on specified open days. In case of emergency, parents can meet the teachers with prior permission from the Principal.

NEW ADMISSION GUIDELINES : (For L.K.G)

(within a radius of maximum 3 kms), whose own brother / sister is presently Ours is a Religious & Linguistic Rajasthani Jain Minority School, so Preference is given to Rajasthani Jain applicants, but even then the number of Jain Applicants are manifold to the number of seats available.

Hence, the preliminary selection for counselling is guided by an Admission Policy of the Management, where in priorites are defined.

For example, Jain Applicant residing near to school studying in the School, is given preference over other Applicants etc., A portion of seats are also allocated for the non-jains especially those having Tamil as mother tongue and residing within 1.5 kms radius of the school. Thus all eligible Applications received within the stipulated date will be screened as per priorities, and if no communication is received within 40 days from the last date of Registration, it may be understood that the application is not selected, because no separate intimation is to be sentfor the same.

1. Minimum 3 years and maximum 4 years age, is essential for the child to be eligible for admission, as on 31st March of the Admission year.

2. The Birth Certificate xerox copy issued by the Corporation / Panchayat, has to be enclosed along with the application. No Affidavit approved by Magistrate etc., will be acceptable.

3. The application received till last date, after verification of date birth and other details, will be approved by the management at their discretion for Personal Counselling.

4. If the application is approved for Personal Counselling, both the parents (father & mother)must accompany the child and assist.

5. The child must be physically present, when required for the Counselling.

6. The Parents have to give a written undertaking about adhering to all Rules and Regulations of the school, maintaining discipline, sharing academic improvement etc.

7. The fees will be collected for those children, who are approved for admission after Counselling Session.

NECESSARY ENCLOSURES TO SUBMIT ALONGWITH APPLICATION (FOR LKG)

All information in the application must be supported by authenticated evidence : -

I) Residential Address - Ration Card copy (Issued with in 5 years) or Voter Card copy or Passport or Aadhaar Card/I.D. card issued by the Postal Department.

ii) Birth Certificate (issued by Corporation / Municipality)

iii) For Own Brother / Sister-Copy of latest Fee Receipt and ID Card Copy for studying in GSS School.

NOTE : ADMISSION CANNOT BE A MATTER OF CLAIM OR RIGHT JUST BECAUSE THE APPLICATION WAS PURCHASED AND REGISTERED.

NEW ADMISSION - FOR OTHER CLASSES :- GUIDELINES :-

1. Application forms for New Admission for other classes may be Issued during March/April only if vacancy is available and only those students who satisfy their age and have a brilliant academic performance in the previous school, conforming to CBSE norms etc., whose requisition letter for application is approved by the Management.

2. Birth Certificate Xerox copy, Half yearly marks statement of the present school, merit certificate etc., providing the merit of the student should be enclosed alongwith application form.

3. Provisional admission may be given to meritorious students, after examining their performance in the entrance test and depending upon the vacancy position.

4. As the vacancy is found to be very rare in the classes other than LKG, students having meritorious record and studied in CBSE schools with good conduct etc. are given preference by the Management to fill up the vacancy if required.

NO RECOMMENDATIONS ARE ENCOURAGED.

Note : All New Admission for LKG & other classes will have to pay an Admission Fees of Rs. 5,000/- and refundable deposit of Rs. 10,000/- along with Annual fees.

Our Trust, Shree Mahaveer Jain Kalyan Sangh, provides Scholarships in Fees for deserving & Needy students of Jain Community for all classes for which filled up Application has to be given at the school office and the approval should be received in Advance. Parents of the students selected for Interview in LKG admission, if requiring Protshan Vriti can apply immediately before the interview date with all supportive details and reference in the prescribed form of our Sangh, to avoid inconvenience later.
